ODR Platforms: MyLawBC

MyLaw BC, an ODR platform created by the Legal Services Society of BC, in conjunction with Rewire Justice Technology, has just launched its beta phase and is gearing up for a full launch to the public shortly. The site provides both an online platform for users to work together to create separation agreements, but also a number of guided pathways. These pathways ask users a series of questions around the topic of choice and accordingly produces a tailored help factsheet with advice and contacts for that individual. BC ha sseen many problems surrounding high numbers of repossessions of family homes and it is hoped that this drive towards a more hollistic provision of services and information online will act as great step towards addressing these problems directly.
